I'm an 18 year old sophomore at Iowa State University studying psychology with minors in criminal justice and political science, and I am dead set on getting into one of the best law schools by Fall 2028. This newsletter is designed to document the whole journey and give pre-law students a space to read about my experiences and feel seen, because becoming a lawyer is difficult. This newsletter will document finding internships, preparing for the LSAT, joining clubs, and all of the shifts as a barista in between. I interned at a criminal defense firm when I was 16, and I had no connections. That experience confirmed something: I was going to be a criminal defense attorney. If you're on the same road, or thinking about being a lawyer, this newsletter is a great place to start.

Everything I thought I knew about standardized tests doesn't apply here.

Pre-Law panic regarding the "right" major is very real... but mostly wrong.

On getting your first real legal experience, before you know what you're doing.
